DESTINY 2 BASTION UNSTOPPABLE DRIVER
However, Lorentz Driver is a much more powerful one, and probably the best in the game in terms of damage. Arbalest is, to me, a better Exotic because it’s easier to use. I adore this one because it’s a nice gimmick, but it was good in Destiny 1. The Queenbreakerįinally, we have another legacy weapon. This is a great legacy weapon, but it doesn’t scratch the advantages that Lorentz Driver has. It’s good, I like it, but the bonus damage is still much better. This is basically a more deadly trace rifle. Even on a min/max level, it’s nowhere near as good. This weapon has its perks by being able to fire in full-auto, but the bonus damage potential doesn’t compare. Sure, it’s got Neelder-like slugs, but it’s also a Destiny 2 glitch waiting to happen every season. Still, it’s not the bonus damage we get with Lorentz Driver. You can build up some serious damage by deliberately not killing enemies, and then charge yourself up to destroy your enemies. MercilessĪnyone who reads this site knows that I love Merciless. But it’s hard to make the most of unless you know what you’re doing. It launches homing slugs that can kill you through an obstacle. Honestly, I’d say Arbalest was better for ease of use, but Lorentz Driver is probably more powerful. I think it’s akin to the bonus damage but much easier to achieve. You’ll also make an enemy vulnerable once you destroy that shield, and you can swap out to a new gun to finish them off. I love Arbalest because it causes damage to all elemental shields, not just one with a bonus. I’m not sorry to say that Lorentz Driver is better. It also fires unstoppable slugs, but that’s about it. You charge this weapon to fire three purely kinetic slugs at enemies. So, is this better than everything else? Let’s see. This causes an implosion with precision final blows that pulls in nearby targets and causes additional damage to them.

You also get EM Anomaly with this weapon. Each one you grab also adds bonus ability energy. Pick up three of these without dying and you’ll gain a long period of increased damage. Any final blows on market targets generate Telemetry Patterns.

This makes the weapon mark enemies with a targetted aiming system. Is it the best one in the game though? We’ve been through most of them, and now we’re going to compare this latest entry to see if it’s actually better than everything else on the market. Lorentz Driver is a brand new Exotic fusion rifle that’s just been added to Destiny 2 with Season of the Lost.
